LOCATION: We will be meeting at the Herriman High School Seminary Building and hiking to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. The majority of the hike is on the Midas Creek and Oquirrh Lake Loop trails (see below).

RECOMMENDED: Small backpack, hat, sunscreen, water, any snacks you want, and wear the shoes you will be wearing on trek in June.

We are hoping that each Ma and Pa will be attending this Temple Hike. We will be hiking as families and companies. Please contact Joe or Andrea Lunt as soon as possible if you are not able to attend so we can assign your youth to another Ma and Pa for safety purposes.

This route has the least number of roads to cross, passing under Anthem Park Blvd, Herriman Main Street, Mountain View Corridor, and Daybreak Parkway. There are 9 total road crossings with cross walks, and 1 major intersection with a light. We plan to have adults posted at each of these areas in bright yellow vests to help assist with safety. The majority of this hike will take place on designated walking trails, Midas Creek Trail, and Oquirrh Lake Loop Trail.
Each family will walk this trail together, the Ma and Pa will be responsible for knowing where each of their youth are at all times.
The Physical Preparation Committee will be proving more detailed information on the route, safety and everyone's responsibilities.
